Mechanic Tricks

You learn your first mechanic trick at 2nd level and an additional trick every 2 levels thereafter. Mechanic tricks all require you to meet a minimum mechanic level, and they are organized accordingly. Some mechanic tricks require you to satisfy other prerequisites, such as having other tricks.

You can make anything out of anything. Choose a number of personal or technological items equal to your Intelligence modifier (minimum 1). Each item's level must be half your mechanic level or less. You can craft items of the chosen kind as a full action by spending 1 Resolve Point, providing you have a number of ranks in Engineering equal to or greater than the item's level and the necessary materials to craft the item. You can change which items you've selected with this mechanic trick each time you gain a level.
If you're holding or carrying a personal or technological item that you personally crafted whose item level is half your mechanic level or less, you can craft it using this ability even if you didn't choose it with scrap savant by spending 2 Resolve Points instead of 1.
